Kids on a family holiday in Lake Taupo will be pretty

Taupo Hot Springs Spa's warm-water interactive
playground is Fun with a capital F! There's a water slide.
There's tunnels and things to climb under jets of water.
There's wheels to turn to let off big blasts of water on
your friends. There's water pop-ups that will surprise you
as you run around. There's a giant mushroom shower, with a
wall of water that is just so cool to jump in and out
of.
Better yet, your parents will let you play in peace
because the playground is rubber-matted so it doesn't
matter if you fall. You know the classic "Don't run around
the pool! You'll slip!"? Well, none of that here. Actually,
slipping is part of the fun.
If you think your holiday can't get any better, there's
more. Taupo Hot Springs Spa's thrilling giant dragon slide!
Right next to the interative water playground, you can zoom
down the 4 stories high Jurassic dragon head and land in a
nice pool of warm water. Make a splash! Kids of all ages
will have a thrill on the dragon slide, even the grown-up
ones.
Taupo Hot Springs Spa's play areas aren't just in the
water. If you feel like a bit of time on dry land, why not
try out the giant chess game? Chess pieces are a couple of
feet high, and you will have fun moving them around the
giant board and challenging your opponent. Why not take a
photo in the giant funny photo board - a holiday photo to
remember! If you still want to have more fun, ask about our
petanque set and volleyball court.
Taupo Hot Springs Spa has picnic areas and BBQs, so why
not make this a family day out, or even a great location
for a birthday party???
Taupo Hot Springs Spa has a special children's pools,
where the little ones can play, jump, dunk their head under
water. It's all safe - this is thermally heated
fresh-water. Ask for floaties and noodles at reception for
extra fun.
Kids love swimming in the hot pools at Taupo Hot Springs
Spa. It's so cosy and relaxing, and so nice to have a swim
with Mum and Dad. Especially having a hot soak last thing
at night and jumping straight in your pyjamas... Only thing
missing for perfect happiness is that cup of Milo or hot
chocolate!
On the Thermal Explorer Highway (SH5) towards Napier, 1
km from the lakefront. Adjacent to Taupo DeBretts Resort
