Taupo Hot Springs Spa’s healing waters are known
to:
- soften the skin (silica is a natural exfoliant)
- alleviate muscle and joint pains (calcium and
magnesium for bone health)
- provide lasting warmth in winter (penetrating heat
due to the potassium)
- soothe eczema, itches and sunburn (sodium
bicarbonate)
- boost blood circulation and elimination of toxins
(water heat and wet massage features in the pools,
including acupressure jets, air lounger and water
curtains).
Taupo Hot Springs Spa’s natural water flows from
the Onekeneke Stream and is cooled down to temperatures
ranging from 38 to 42°C (100 to 108°F). The rich
mineral components of the water are preserved for optimum
health benefits. Outdoor and private mineral pools are
available.

Relax and rejuvenate after a day playing in the Lake
Taupo Volcanic Zone. The mineral water's heat is
prenetrating due to the presence of potassium - bathing
will provide hours of warmth on those cold winter days.
Bring the kids down for a hot soak before bedtime - they
will sleep like the little angels they are! The giant
dragon slide and interactive water playground are also sure

Located on the Thermal Explorer Highway (SH5) towards
Napier, 1 km from the lakefront. Adjacent to Taupo DeBretts
